Phenomenal dress by Azzedine Alaia, from the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, see here the full length version of this piece on display for an Alaia retrospective at the Groninger Museum. This mini dress is absolutely fantastic and is comprised of a plasticized faux raffia-type material, woven intricately. Semi-sheer bodice. A fit and flare silhouette with a fitted waist that extends to a full, flouncy mini skirt. A subtle 'spiderweb'-like/scalloped like detail within the weave from the waist down, with alternating see through and solid panels. Zips up at low, scooping back. Complete with original stretchy, shape-wear style hot pants. Impossible to find.
